I am proud to announce that I have been endorsed by Right to Life of Michigan!

As an Attorney who has actually spent 30 years of my life studying and defending the constitution, I can make erudite Constitutional arguments for life based on logic and facts. I understand that properly understood, our Constitution does not confer a right to obtain an abortion. Through my deep study, I know that the Constitution makes no express references to abortion. I understand abortion is not a fundamental right deeply rooted in the nature, history, or traditions of the nation. I understand abortion is not implicit in the concept of ordered liberty. I have studied the intellectual icons of common law like William Blackstone and Sir Edward Coke and understand that laws regulating abortion existed for hundreds of years before Roe.

Simply saying “The Constitution,” “Liberty” and “Family,” is bumper sticker logic. It’s the kind of logic my opponents engage in all the time and it does not cause anyone to become a member of Right to Life or to join the Republican party. To my opponents I simply say, “Be better.” If Republicans want to start winning again, it starts by electing candidates like me and the conservative republicans running against Ottawa Impact Republicans.
