Recently we received this comment from an activist in Ottawa County:

“Shawn Haff is in this video (Ed Note: we’re not sure what video) and he wants voters to guess if he is 100% on board with Ottawa Impact or 50% opposed to them. As an activist of color my habit is to trust somebody the first time when they tell me who they are.”

Response:

I’m not sure what video this person is referring to.  But once again Shawn has made it abundantly clear that he continues to be concerned about working with all people within his district, not just people who agree with Shawn or agree with Ottawa Impact.  He is not obligated to Ottawa Impact in any way, nor does he ever plan to be.  His only goal is serving ALL of the people within his District 6 of Ottawa County, ensuring that they are well represented and cared for at the county level, and ensuring that their needs are met.
